Wattle & Loop – Slow Stitched Landscapes & Flowers

We are delighted that Kylie Wright from Wattle & Loop is coming to teach with us at Treehouse Textiles.
Slow stitched landscapes & flowers - Come and create a hand sewn, one-of-a-kind textile artwork using a variety of fabrics & old quilt pieces, antique lace, Liberty of London fabric - whatever bits and pieces you have at hand, they can be tiny!
Add details using hand embroidery and appliqué and a range of cotton, silk or wool threads.
This is an all day workshop at Treehouse Textiles Mornington Store.

Unlimited use of our scrap basket…
A range of embroidery threads, wool, silk, cotton.
Scraps of fabrics, lace, vintage/reclaimed bits and pieces. No need to be large pieces.
A piece of fabric for the background. No smaller than 5”x5”. Could be linen, an old scrap of quilt, an old piece of Sanderson fabric – something that’s a little sturdy.
General sewing equipment – scissors, needles etc
